Sudsakorn Wins WKN 8-Man Tournament
Extract from the Science of 8 Limbs by Mike Lng:
In a very dominant run in the WKN Big 8 Tournament Sudsakorn Klinmee cleared out
all of his opponents. Those of you already familiar with Sudsakorn’s style
already knows his death defying razor’s edge timing that he’s adopted since
participating in international competition outside of Thailand. Sudsakorn prior
to that made his name in the stadiums in Thailand.
Sudsakorn’s style makes matches exciting and I have to admit I even find myself
wondering how long can he maintain his edge with the risks he takes with his
timing. Even taking Sudsakorn’s methodology into account the tournament final
found him facing off with as most expected against Andrei Kulebin.
Quarter finals results:
- Andrei Kulebin ( Belarus ) wins versus Taylor Harvey ( Australia )
- Erkan Varol ( Turkey ) wins versus Mthobisi Buthelezi( Africa )
- Sudsakorn ( Asia ) wins versus Michael Manaquill ( North America ). Manaquill
was a late replacement for Malaipet Sasiprapa.
- Kushnirenko ( Europe ) wins versus Marcos Cornejo ( South America )
Semi-Final Results:
- Andrei Kulebin ( Belarus ) def. Erkan Varol ( Turkey )
- Sudsakorn Klinmee ( Asia ) def. Ruslan Kushnirenko ( Europe )
Final Result:
- Sudsakorn Klinmee (Asia) def. Andrei Kulebin (Belarus) TKO (Doctor Stoppage)
